FAQ

I will build this section to address comments I see in reviews or online discussions (or sent directly to me) and also to preemptively answer any question that might arise from different kinds of events affecting my books. I will add sections regularly.

Why aren’t the images in the books more explicit? After all, those are hentai stories!

My stories are, indeed, hentai stories. Independent writers are allowed to publish such stories on Amazon. Independent writers, however, are not allowed to publish explicit pictures, be it within their books or on their covers. I would love to put more daring pictures in my books, but I am severely restricted by Amazon’s terms of service. You might sometimes come across an independently published book with quite explicit pictures in it. They just haven’t been caught yet. Lines are sometimes blurry around what constitutes an explicit picture for the Amazon review team, and discrepancies are not uncommon. Still, some of my books have been blocked, sometimes after a few weeks of being online, because of pictures slightly off ToS. I thus prefer to lean on the side of safety for my account’s sake, and not risk losing the right to publish. I still accompany my stories with pictures, to give more life to my characters, but they, sadly, have to remain tame.

Why did the paperbacks prices increase recently?

I am trying to keep the prices of the paperbacks as low as possible, especially the shorter ones. However, Amazon increased their printing costs recently, and also slightly reduced the royalty rates one can get under a certain threshold. I updated my prices accordingly, in two waves. It is worth noting that I get less money from a paperback sale than from an ebook sale, but I really like the idea of proposing a printed format.
